About New Jersey Wedding Photographer Meredith Winner

Mini bio and inspirations :

As an award winning international wedding photographer, event photographer and portrait photographer in South Jersey it is my honor to record your memories through photographs. I've been providing unsurpassed quality in imagery for more than 30 years.

I was born in 1962 as Meredith Ann Myers. As a native to southern New Jersey, I spent my summers on Long Beach Island. As a young girl I began shooting artistic images of the beach, marsh, friends and nature. In the early 1980s while attending Haddonfield High School, an English elective introduced me to black-and-white photography and darkroom techniques. There, my passion and inspiration for photography flourished.

I was a photojournalist with the Philadelphia Inquirer and those news assignments were great learning experiences. In the journalism business, coming back with great shots was expected, no exceptions. That is the skill and dedication that affords you unsurpassed quality at your wedding or event.

I was strongly Influenced growing up with artist "Roberta" Giannone and in my early 20s. I worked as an artist's model for late artist Hal Singer. I regard my time spent with them as invaluable as they mentored and shared their talent and expertise. I raised two beautiful children while keeping my passion for art and photography close at heart. I cherish my family photos and realize how important they have become as the years go by. Keeping focused on your memories while I'm shooting your event is what I do best!

I studied at The Photography Institute in 2008 to sharpen my craft. I am inspired by the works of the late Ansel Adams and often joyfully quote his words, "Sometimes I do get to places just when God's ready to have somebody click the shutter."
